Photography Classes and Photographer Mentoring

You love photography and want to turn your craft into a business or take your current business to the next level… but you don’t know where to start. I’ve been there! I started my career 10 years ago working for a large company taking pictures of babies and families. Since then I’ve been a trainer, a quality control manager all for a large photography company, and then went on and started my own business full time.

Scary, right? Especially since my goal was to make a living doing the thing I loved, not just dabble in a hobby while working for someone else.

And I’ve done that.

Being a photographer is so much fun and incredibly rewarding. I mean, you get to work for yourself, right?!? But it can also be frustrating. Since I started, I’ve had to learn how to use a camera and then become proficient. I’ve changed my work ethic, editing, and style numerous times. I’ve been mentored, attended photography workshops and conferences, and hosted workshops. Through all this, I’ve gained insight, tips, and tricks that can help you get where you want to go.

Maybe you're just starting out and want to learn how to make this into a business. Or maybe you’re in an inspirational funk and need some encouragement to get back on track. Whatever it is, my photography classes and mentoring sessions will take you to the next level. Together, we’ll work together step-by-step to discover your strengths: become proficient with your camera, market to grow your business, master customer service, and nail the little things that will make you stand out above the competition. You’ll leave with a plan to get you where you have dreamed of going with your business.

I am not going to say it is easy by any stretch, but if you are willing to put in the blood, sweat, and work (even tears!), the joy {and profit} will come! And I can show you how.
