There are just those sessions where everything works. The Brazle family had perfect lighting, a beautiful backdrop, an easygoing attitude, and a perfect lil’ bump, and with that, a perfect recipe for a fantastic outdoor winter maternity session.
Even though an outdoor winter maternity session can be a bit of a gamble (will it be cold? Warm? Windy? Snowy? Hey, it’s 2021, maybe a tornado??) I will forever love this season for sessions. It’s classically understated, which gave the Brazle’s center stage for their maternity pictures. I also love that Madeleine opted for a black dress, which is so moody and beautiful, and of course, hugs her bump in all the right places!
When I look at these pictures, and they just feel romantic, classic, and timeless (all the things an outdoor winter maternity session should be).
I cannot wait to meet your little bundle, Brazle family! Congratulations, and thank you for trusting me to capture this exciting season!
Outdoor Winter Maternity Sessions Are Perfect During a Pandemic
It’s no secret that 2020 has forced us to reevaluate how we do the most simple tasks. When Madeleine first contacted me about her maternity session a few months ago, we had to discuss the session’s details to accommodate not only her perfect bump time but also how we would navigate safe social distancing.
The Brazle family is not unique! As all of my clients know, I take my session’s safety seriously to ensure that my clients, kids, and I, are being safe.
The beauty of an outdoor winter maternity session is that it’s easy to maintain distance, have no contact, and still capture beautiful pictures like these.
Look, I get it; there is a lot to think about when planning a session this year. If you ever want to chat more about how I shoot while maintaining a high social distancing standard and health, drop me an email!
