It’s been over two years since Tom and Laura had family pictures done. And since Olivia is almost three, that means the most recent photos that have were when Olivia was still a baby! We had to change that, and I’m so excited we could get outside recently for this fun Hinsdale family session!
Give me a sassy toddler in a fur vest any day, and I’m a happy photographer! Olivia brought all the pizazz you could hope for in this fun Hinsdale family session, and I loved getting to know the McAuliffe family better! Tom and Laura were easy to shoot. I loved getting a few pictures of just the two of them (looking so in love, I might add).
For many couples, after the wedding, there aren’t many opportunities to grab a few pictures without the kids. I love taking a few minutes to spend some time as just the couple, for this exact reason!
Olivia was also a wonderfully fun model! Obsessed with all things princesses, Olivia was a princess in her own right, and we all loved doting on her as she struck poses, danced, and picked flowers during our time.
Candid and Natural Photos Drove this Hinsdale Family Session
Before our session, Laura requested that we focus on less staged shots and more on candid in-the-moment photos. I love it when I can work with families capturing them in their natural moments, just like I did with the McAuliffe family! When families are relaxed and not feeling pressured to look or act a certain way, the pictures turn out even more beautiful!
I especially love the shots of each parent hugging and loving on Olivia. You can just see that she lights up their world.
I am so grateful that Laura reached out after hearing about me on the Hinsdale Area Family Facebook page! I love it when my past clients refer me because I get to meet even more fabulous families in the area!
Thank you, McAuliffe Family, for the opportunity to capture you all in this fun fall Hinsdale family session!
