Downers Grove First Year Session | Lynn Family

March 3, 2021

I am so excited to dust off this wintery family session because baby Arthur is now (over) one! As a photographer here in Downers Grove, Il area, I love capturing families from pregnancy through childhood. Since I offer a first-year package (that includes a free maternity session, by the way), I get to meet the babies as tiny newborn squishes and visit them throughout their first year. Being able to capture their rolls, development, and their wobbly first steps is so fun.

The Lynn family was looking for images that they could use for family pictures and send out with their 2020 Christmas cards. It was so fun to catch up with them (and Arthur) for this easy and relaxed session in Downers Grove. The day was beautiful, and I always love meandering around the downtown area and capturing cute portraits as we walk.

I could hardly believe how quickly the session went, and before we knew it, we were done! The Lynn family session is a fantastic reminder that outfit changes are an easy way to change your photos without a ton of effort. Arthur threw on a cute and cozy Christmas look for this specific session, and I love how cute he looked wrapped up in the blanket.

Capture Your Kids First Year Session in Downers Grove, IL

My clients love the convenience of my first-year packages because it takes away the pressure and guesswork of when you should schedule a session for your baby. When you purchase a package, I will work with you to select times throughout the first year to get together and capture all your baby’s milestones.

Instead of spending a lot of time trying to search for a photographer every few months, a first-year package is a perfect way to capture your children. An even bigger bonus? These packages will guarantee that all of your professional sessions’ photo styles are similar in editing style. This means that whether it’s a newborn photo or a 1-year celebration, all of the photos will compliment each other when displayed together.
